Drone startup Garuda Aerospace to supply multipurpose drones to Indian Army

Chennai, Aug 26 (KNN) The Indian Army has evinced a keen interest to procure multipurpose drones from drone startup Garuda Aerospace to help them assist in their strategic and tactical operations.

“Drone startup Garuda Aerospace would be offering its multipurpose drones for strategic and tactical operations of the Army,” the company said on Thursday.

The Indian Army has invited the startup to dispatch its technical team to undertake the modification and help them maintain timeline and operations while performing their duties.

This partnership comes at the backdrop of the Indian army’s efforts to increase the usage of drones in its day-to-day activities as well as bolster effectiveness of special missions by detecting and disrupting transnational organised criminal networks.

Speaking about the joint partnership, Agnishwar Jayaprakash, company Founder and CEO said "Garuda Aerospace has created significant traction by deploying drones for unique applications to support the Indian Army and now it will be using multipurpose drones for strategic and tactical operations.”

"Our drones are designed with artificial intelligence and machines which have rapid learning," he said.

The collaboration between the Indian Army and Garuda Aerospace will be a step forward in meeting the defence requirements of the country, which in return will help achieve the ultimate goal of Atmanirbharta in Defence.  (KNN Bureau)
