The main objective is to enable the units to do better business with audiences across the globe while offering them a deep understanding of e-commerce retail exports opportunities.

The sessions will focus on policies, best practices in product listings, selling, shipping, and customer services, along with raising awareness on the latest cross-border trade market studies, design trends, and the standards to follow.

eBay India will assist Madhya Pradesh Industrial Units with the sign-up process on the brand’s marketplace and provide end-to-end support with onboarding procedures.

The businesses will be part of special programs on the platform which will enable them to set-up stores as well as promote their products to global buyers.

The e-commerce leader will also introduce third-party service providers (for product imaging, creating catalogs, etc.) which can be availed by the industrial units from time to time.

Commenting on the MoU, Minister of Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion of Madhya Pradesh, Rajvardhan Singh Dattigaon said, “Our partnership with eBay India will benefit thousands of small businesses and industries to provide a boost to the growth of local industries and artisans, accelerating socio-economic development and the digitalization of MSMEs in the state".

We are delighted to work in partnership with an industry leader like eBay and look forward to getting our entrepreneurs, craftsmen and small businesses ready for a new chapter of growth and innovation, he added. (KNN Bureau)
