New Delhi, July 14 (KNN) Aiming to motivate people to avail benefits under various self employment schemes of the government the Economic Development Corporation (EDC) will organize “Self Employment Awareness and Assistance” Camp for the Sanvordem Constituency on July 14, 2018 in South Goa.

The inaugural program would be followed by technical session on motivational inputs, opportunity guidance and dissemination of information on various self employment schemes, being operated by the participating organizations.

Apart from EDC, the other participating agencies include Khadi and Village Industries Board (KVIB), Goa Handicraft Rural and Small Scale Industries Development Corporation Ltd, (GHRSSIDC), Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce (DITC), Department of Agriculture, Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, etc, Goa State Scheduled Tribe Finance and Development Corporation, Goa State Horticultural Corporation Ltd.

According to a statement from the government, the camp will be held in the presence of Deepak Pauskar, MLA, and Chairman, Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation (GSIDC), Nilesh Cabral, MLA, and Chairman, Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) and other prominent persons.
