New Delhi, May 31 (KNN) Congratulating Prime Minister Narendra Modi for beginning his second term after an emphatic win in elections, EEPC India Chairman Ravi Sehgal said that the new Cabinet composition reflects energy, talent, experience and a clear vision to take India among the league of top global powers.

He said that the engineering exports which contribute almost 25 per cent of the country's total export basket, are a major source of employment and have a pre-dominance of the MSME sector, which would also be handled by Nitin Gadkari, another dynamic minister in the Modi 2.O government.

“We in the exporting sector are particularly pleased with the Prime Minister's choice of Piyush Goyal as the Commerce and Industry Minister.  With Goyal also incharge of the Railways, it would be a great logistic boost to exporters who continuously require reduction in the cost of transactions," Sehgal said.

The EEPC India Chairman also extended his congratulations to other members of the Council of Ministers, stating ''with Nirmala Sitharaman moving to the Finance Ministry, exporters would get a far greater appreciation of the issues that she herself dealt with in her previous assignment of the Commerce and Industry portfolio".
