New Delhi, Aug 1 (KNN)  Budding entrepreneurs with ambitions to reach out to global markets will be provided with expert training under a Certificate Course by the EEPC India, the apex organisation of the USD 62 billion engineering export industry.

The course will be offered by EEPC India Northern Region at its new premises which opened here yesterday.

The certificate course would provide a great opportunity to young entrepreneurs in whom an export culture needs to be inculcated, EEPC India said in a statement.

Leading exporters from the northern region and faculty from renowned management/foreign trade institutes will impart training in engineering exports and effective communication skills, terms of shipment, payment channels such as Letters of Credit, etc.

The new 3500 sq ft facility will also be used to provide better services to exporters including resolving problems with customs authorities through regular industry-government interactions.  Also, regular interactions with trade facilitation committees set up at all northern dry ports will be organised along with meetings with bankers to ensure redressal of the banking issues.

Exporters from Northern India will be encouraged to go and participate in the international trade exhibitions and fairs with the help of the council, it added. (KNN Bureau)
