EEPC-PNB inks MoU, easy finance access on the agenda
New Delhi, Oct 24 (KNN) Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC) India, a premier body for merchants and SME exporters has signed a Memorandum of Understanding ( MoU) with Punjab National Bank(PNB) to provide easy finance access to the exporters.
According to the agreement, PNB will not only provide loans to EEPC members but also extend financial advisory services through its authorized 200 branches across the country.
Sanjeev Sharan, Executive director of PNB said that exporters will be given loans upto 10 crore at competitive rates within six to seven weeks of application.
The exporters can also avail additional benefits like quicker disbursal and sanction of loans by buying Gold cards.
Additional executive director of EEPC Suranjan Gupta said more than 22 per cent of overall exports of the country comprises of engineering items.
This special facility for EEPC members is commencing from eastern region and will be extended to the other parts of the country gradually. (KNN/AG)
