New Delhi, Apr 9 (KNN) Ahead of upcoming General Elections 2019, Instamojo has launched the IAMMSME campaign in a bid to encourage Micro Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) players in the country to exercise their right to vote and contribute towards building a promising future for the sector.

The campaign which went live on April 8, 2019, aims to reach out to the MSMEs of India through social media and digital platforms.

As part of this campaign, Instamojo has created a web link www.iammsme.in where participants will be asked to submit their pledge to vote and rank top three priorities that concerns their business and growth of the sector.

Speaking on the launch of the campaign, CEO & co-founder of Instamojo, Sampad Swain, said, “While we are constantly working towards empowering the MSME businesses by helping them go digital, we came up with the idea of ‘IAMMSME’ campaign for the upcoming elections.”

Apart from encouraging them to go out and vote, through this campaign, we want MSME players and small business owners to voice out their top priorities from the government for the next 5 years, he added.

He stated that the next 5 years will be crucial for the sector as digital disruption will continue to take place and government will have a pivotal role in enabling and empowering them,

“This is an opportunity to create change. Every election, you voted as an individual. This election, vote as a Kirana store. This election, vote as a startup. This election, vote as an MSME!,” statement written on the newly launched website.

The 2019 general election is scheduled to be held between 11 April and 19 May 2019. It will be held in 7 phases to constitute the 17th Lok Sabha.
