Government Cuts Import Duty On Mobile Devices In New Budget

New Delhi, Jul 23 (KNN) In a significant move affecting the telecommunications sector, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced today that the government has reduced the basic customs duty on mobile phones and mobile chargers to 15 per cent.

This decision comes as part of the newly presented budget.
