World Skill Center, ABB India collaborate in field of Robotics Technology

Bhubaneswar, Nov 5 (KNN) The World Skill Center (WSC) has signed an agreement with ABB India Ltd. (ABB) to jointly work in the field of Robotics for Automation Industry.

Under this collaboration, ABB will provide 50 Robot Studio Network Licenses at no cost to WSC for training for three years. However, these licenses have to be renewed on an annual basis by submitting a declaration that these network licenses are only for educational use to instruct students and not for any commercial purpose.

The licenses will be governed by existing ABB policy.

ABB India Ltd will also provide two training places per year for selected WSC staff under the Train-the-Trainer programme, as part of WSC staff capability development.

As per reports, there will be no course fee for WSC staff when they attend their certification course at ABB, Bangalore. WSC will bear the expenses for the air tickets, accommodation and staff allowances incurred during the training conducted at ABB.
