Entrepreneurs should be aware of intellectual property laws: Arvind Patwari
New Delhi, Nov 22 (KNN) The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) had rolled out many schemes to boost entrepreneurship in the country said Arvind Patwari, MSME Development Institute Director on Tuesday while addressing entrepreneurs at two day national workshop on export marketing in Hyderabad.
He said that the Marketing Assistance Scheme by MSME ministry assists the entrepreneurs especially women and SCs, STs to showcase their products and services at international fairs.
He added that the scheme covers the airfare and the cost of vendor stalls at the fairs. Under the scheme up to 1.25 lakh is paid for airfare and about 1 lakh for the stall and hundred percent subsidy to women on the increasing competition from Chinese products the director said that the Entrepreneurs should be aware of the intellectual property and patent laws in the country.
Speaking at the event, Assistant Commissioner, Customs and Excise, N. Haritha acquainted the entrepreneurs with export and import laws. (KNN/AG)
