DGFT Organises ‘E-Commerce Export Summit’ to Empower New Exporters, MSMEs in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, Jun 7 (KNN) The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) is organising a major e-commerce export summit in Ahmedabad aimed at empowering new exporters and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to take full advantage of global market opportunities.

The daylong "Export Summit 2024" will be held on June 11th, 2024 at the J.B. Auditorium on the AMA campus, Ahmedabad starting at 9 AM onwards.

The DGFT has encouraged all interested new exporters and MSME entrepreneurs in Gujarat to register for the summit by applying through this online form https://forms.gle/r4gnrYtMGiSAiMHi9

The summit will provide insights into the e-commerce ecosystem, government export promotion schemes, financial facilities available to exporters, and strategies for tapping into overseas markets.

Topics on the agenda include e-commerce export trends, marketing strategies, logistics solutions, trade financing, regulatory compliance, and more.

There will also be dedicated sessions for different export sectors like handicrafts, engineering goods, pharmaceuticals and agro-products.

Industry experts, policymakers and heads of export promotion councils will be among the speakers and panelists.

The summit aims to bolster exports from Gujarat, which have shown steady growth in recent years across sectors like gems & jewelry, pharmaceuticals, machinery and textiles.

Facilitating easier export market access for MSMEs is expected to provide a further impetus.
