Fadnavis, Kalraj Mishra inaugurates DICCI’s 5th Industrial and Trade Expo

Mumbai, Mar 25 (KNN) Government will unveil a blue print to ease the process of setting up new venture, said Union MSME Minister Kalraj Mishra while addressing the Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry's (DICCI's) 5th Industrial and Trade Expo.

DICCI organised this expo on the occasion of 125th birth anniversary year of Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. The event was inaugurated by Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis.

“DICCI ensuring the Dalit community to be 'job givers, not job seekers',” he said.
The Minister said there will be special support structure for innovation based start-ups, including funding from the Government.

Under Stand Up India, each of 1.25 lakh bank branches would be encouraged to fund a SC/ST & woman entrepreneurs to create 2.5 lakh new entrepreneurs, Mishra said adding that the government will continue to promote the growth of MSME sector with cooperation of the state Government.

Mishra also visited the Institute for Design of Electrical Measuring Instruments (IDEMI) here today.

While addressing the expo, Fadnavis spoke on Maharashtra Government's efforts in formulating the special scheme to encourage SC/ST entrepreneurs. (KNN Bureau)
