FDF seeks single window clearance to set-up training center for foundry workers

Coimbatore, Sept 16 (KNN) The government should provide Foundries Development Foundation (FDF) single window clearance to set up Rs 30 crore worth Centre of Excellence (CoE) to train workers, said Krishna Samraj, VP, FDF.

He was speaking at the three-day InterFoundry and InterDieCast exhibition on Thursday which is organised by FDF.

In his inaugural address, Chairman of Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited (TIIC) Hans Raj Verma said the Corporation is providing value proposition to its MSME customers apart from lending, reported The Hindu.

Verma spoke about TIIC’s various partnership to support and encourage MSMEs in different sectors.

Highlighting its future prospects, he said TIIC is partnering with VIT to onboard MSMEs on industry 4.0 and are looking at partnerships with institutes like the PSG.

The event is taking place at CODISSIA trade fair complex in Coimbatore and will conclude on September 17, 2022.  (KNN Bureau)
