Festival of cuisine and culture Bharat Parv starts in the national capital

On the occasion, Sharma emphasised that tourism is high on priority of the government and the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has become the biggest ambassador to promote India across the globe.
He said that the tourism and culture ministries are making all efforts to making India the most popular tourism hub in the world.
The event features state centric food festivals and cultural performances at different locations. Food stalls of different states will be set up to give the public an opportunity to experience the cuisine from different parts of the country.
It will also showcase folk dances and culinary traditions from different states of the country. Artists from all over the country would be performing folk dances from different states including Birha Gayan, folk dance from Braj, Badhai, Gudum Baja dance, Bhawai, Terahtaali dance, Ghoomar, Panihari, Phag dance and Bhangda.
