FICCI FoodWorld India conference scheduled on Sept 14 in Mumbai

Mumbai, Aug 30 (KNN) The 14th Edition of FICCI’s annual flagship event in the food processing sector, the ‘FoodWorld India’ is going to be held on September 14 in Mumbai.

The conference is being organised by FICCI's Food Processing Committee with the support of the Ministry of Food Processing Industries.

The primary aim of this conference is to provide a platform to the industry stakeholders for the discussion on key policy issues pertaining to the food sector and to discuss the growth of the sector.

Key speakers for the summit include Saugata Gupta, managing director and CEO at Marico, Hemant Malik, the CEO of Food Division at ITC Limited; Prashant Peres the managing director (India and South-Asia); Kellogg’s India; Sanjay Sharma, CEO of MTR Foods, amongst others.

A day-long seminar will have sessions on unlocking digital potential for the food processing sector with a focus on the rise of e-commerce and rapid digital acceleration.

There will also be is a focussed start-ups session on the future of food, the key emerging trends which are shaping the future of the Indian market.
