First edition of EV Tech Delhi to be held tomorrow

New Delhi, May 18 (KNN) The Society of Manufacturers of Electric Vehicles (SMEV) is hosting the first edition of EV Tech Delhi on May 19 under the theme of “EV Industry @ 2030: Future Roadmap”.

The conference will facilitate a conversation between policymakers and industry to jointly set an agenda and identify the goals to be achieved by 2030.

Apart from holding discussions, the conference would also recognise the outstanding performers in the EV industry for their contribution to shaping the e-mobility market in India.

It aims to mobilise and sensitise the EV industry about the policy initiatives announced by central and state governments.

The topics for discussions are Policy Initiatives Transiting Towards the EV Mission; Manufacturing Ecosystem; Standardization; EV Charging Infrastructure; and EV Financing.

Commenting on the initiative, Naveen Munjal, President, SMEV, said, “We are excited to hold the EV Tech Delhi that would bring policymakers and industry players together to set an agenda and identify the goals to be achieved by 2030.”

“The free exchange of ideas, discussion on key issues, and prepare a roadmap for e-mobility in India shall set the grit and tone for the EV industry,” he added.

The EV Tech DELHI 2022 will take place at Hotel Shangrila in New Delhi from 9 am to 5 pm.
