Foreign tourists can withdraw Indian Rupees through International debit and credit cards

New Delhi, Apr 5 (KNN) The foreign tourists visiting India can now draw Indian Rupees against their international debit and credit cards through Authorised Money Changers.

“It has been decided that Authorised Money Changers (AMCs) may sell Indian rupees to foreign tourists against International Credit Cards or International Debit Cards and should take prompt steps to obtain reimbursement through normal banking channels,” said RBI in a notification.  (KNN)
