Foundation laid for Software Technology Park in Jamshedpur; would be home to several MSMEs

Jamshedpur, June 20 (KNN) The foundation for Software Technology Park (STP) in Adityapur Industrial Area in Jamshedpur has been laid by the government which would be home to MSMEs, IT and engineering branches, allied sectors and BPO companies.

Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das and Union Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Ravi Shankar Prasad recently laid the foundation of Rs 20-crore STP in Adityapur Industrial Area.

The Ministers also laid the online foundation of the STP in Sindri, Dhanbad, which is being constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 20 crore.

The software park, which is being constructed near the auto cluster design lab in Adityapur on Tata-Kandra Road, could convert the region into an IT and ITeS hub.
