Gartex Texprocess Mumbai edition to showcase sustainable garment manufacturing technologies

Mumbai, May 7 (KNN) After hosting a successful New Delhi edition last year, Gartex Texprocess India will be organising its Mumbai edition from May 12-14 with a focus on advanced and sustainable technologies in the manufacturing of garments.

The event will be held at the Jio World Convention Centre in BKC which will also host  Denim Show, Fabric & Trims Show and Screen Print India under its umbrella, Gartex Texprocess India 2022. 

It will display innovations in textile and garment making machinery, denim, trimmings and screen-printing verticals. 

The event is being jointly organised by Messe Frankfurt India and MEX Exhibitions with an aim to accelerate technological advances in the Indian textile and garments industry.

Highlighting the importance of such events, Vijoy Kumar Singh, additional secretary, ministry of textiles, said, “I am glad to know that of Gartex Texprocess India 2022 will take place in the financial capital of India after successfully hosting the show in Delhi last year.” 

There is a need to make most of the machines manufactured in India particularly in light of current disruption of world logistics services, he added. 

The exhibition is supported by Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC), Retailers Association of India (RAI), Denim Manufacturers’ Association (DMA) and the Gujarat Garment Manufacturers’ Association (GGMA).
