Global Agritech Meet to be held in Rajasthan from Nov 9-11

Jaipur, July 25 (KNN) Giving a boost to the sectors related to agriculture, a three-day 'Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet (GRAM) 2016'  is scheduled to be held here from November 9 to 11 this year.

The Government of Rajasthan jointly with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is organizing the event. The meet is expected to be attended by over 40,000 farmers from across the country.

In addition to farmers, the event will also be an important platform for investors, manufacturers and the academicians and researchers.

For building up the main event, FICCI jointly with Government of Rajasthan is organizing series of roadshows with the objective of providing a platform to stakeholders in agribusiness and allied sectors for sharing of knowledge and focused discussion. Senior Ministers and officials of Government of Rajasthan shall participate in these build up events to initiate collaborative projects in the sector.

The roadshows are being held in 8 cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai etc.

Israel, Netherlands, Canada and Australia have been invited to partner the event. (KNN Bureau)
