New Delhi, Sept 3 (KNN)  To review the skill eco system in the country and evaluate if it needs any course correction measures, the Global Skills Summit 2014 will be held here.

Organised by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), the 7th edition of Global Skills Summit 2014 will be held here on September-4 and 5, according to a press release.

Are we moving in the right direction or is there a need for a conscious course correction,” the release said.

Further, sensitive issues such as access of cost effective technology and its importance for Indian skill ecosystem will be touched upon.  The interaction will help identify barriers for recognition of blue collared jobs in the society and discuss how the coming generations will aspire to choose them as their career options in comparison to the traditional white collared jobs.
