Goals of employment & employability should be in tune with goals of industrial development & growth: Dattatreya

New Delhi, May 26 (KNN) Industrial peace and harmony can be achieved only when the goals of employment and employability are in tune with the goals of industrial development and growth, Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya has said.
Dattatreya, the Minister of State(IC) for Labour and Employment inaugurated an Exhibition cum Awareness Meeting of the initiatives of the Ministry of Labour and Employment in the last one year here on Monday.
Addressing the Meeting, the Minister said that transparency and accountability are two important aspects of governance guiding initiatives taken by the Ministry. The Minister said that the government is striving to enhance employment and employability.
He appealed to all those present to contribute to Swachch Bharat campaign as cleaner environment will nurture better health for workers.
Dattatreya reiterated the commitment of the Government for protecting the interest of workers and bringing inclusive growth in the country.
He said it is the vision of the Government to have an environment which is conducive for inclusive growth and development of the country.
The Ministry of Labour & Employment is committed towards good governance by bringing transparency and accountability in enforcement of Labour Laws, he said. (KNN Bureau)
