New Delhi, Oct 31 (KNN)  Calling for creative participation, the Department of Commerce has invited inputs for theme, tagline and logo for India’s participation at Hannover Messe, the largest engineering exhibition held each year in Germany for which India has been declared the partner country.

Hannover Messe is scheduled to take place from April-13 to 17, 2015 in Hannover, Germany.

Hannover Messe 2015 will be jointly inaugurated by Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, and Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Angela Merkel, according to an official release.

“The Partner Country status offers India an opportunity to position itself in the global business world. More than 300 engineering, manufacturing and technology companies from India will be participating at Hannover Messe 2015,” it said.

Participation at the Hannover Messe is categorised by sectors, namely, Industrial Automation, Motion, Drive and Automation, Energy, Wind, MobiliTec, Digital Factory, ComVac, Industrial Supply, Surface Technology and Research and Technology. India will have a presence across all the sectors. The Partner Country is especially given an opportunity to project itself through a central theme pavilion.

The Department invites creative inputs for a Theme Pavilion, outlining elements and aspects of India that should be highlighted in the theme pavilion, its size measuring 1100 sqm.

Towards this, the Department requires a clear concept on the distinct elements which should have a global connect and relevance. Each element should be distinctive from the other.

Further, a precise and relevant tagline for India’s participation as Partner Country in no more than 4-5 words is required as also a logo for representing India’s engineering prowess at the event.

The logo should be dynamic, vibrant and reflect the spirit of theme. Each entry must include the elements for the theme pavilion, a tagline and a logo design. These should be submitted in soft copy and sent to pawan.chabra@ibef.org.

The winner will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 25,000. Top five shortlisted entries will be given a cash prize of Rs 5,000 each. The last date for submission is November 6, 2014.  (KNN/ES)
