New Delhi, Apr 11, (KNN)  With an aim to bring all tourism related services under a single window, the Ministry of Tourism is eyeing the social media platform for promoting ‘Destination India’ to both domestic and foreign tourists.

To support increasing needs and changing environment in tourism industry, the ministry wants to redesign the website of the portal Incredible India to establish a strong online presence providing a superb user experience leading to increased website traffic thus leading to higher tourism traffic to the country, the Ministry said.

Towards this, the ministry has invited bids from interested agencies for selection of a system integrator for portal development, mobile solutions, social media optimisation and content management services for Incredible India portal.

The agency will provide end to end managed services for development and maintenance of this portal and other components. It will also be responsible for taking over the current portal from the existing vendor.

It will undertake activities related to takeover of current website, user experience and online strategy, portal development, mobile solution development, social media optimisation, web content management and infrastructure hosting services. (KNN/ST)
