Himachal Pradesh keen to enhance fruit quality

Shimla, Oct 28 (KNN)  The Himachal Pradesh Horticultural Produce Marketing and Processing Corporation (HPMPC) is looking into its product quality, in an effort to expand the fruit market.

The state government is seeking experts from different cooperatives to be supervisor. In this regard, it will soon be appointing kiosk management contractors to monitor its market.

Fruits from Himachal Pradesh, where the state population mostly depends directly upon agriculture, are known for its varieties and good quality.  It has been recognised at the Apple State of India.  (KNN/ST)
