New Delhi, Oct 10 (KNN)  In a move to expedite industrial growth in the state, the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (HSIIDC) has plans to allot as many as 487 industrial plots in its five districts.

The industrial plots to be allotted in the industrial districts of Barwala, Manakpur, Tohana, Sirsa and IMT Rijka Meo (Mewat) will help the small units to get organized by giving them a place to operate from.

With a proper space exclusively for industrial units, the move will help the small units to grow in a way similar to the industrial hubs of Manesar, Kundli and Gurgaon.

“The allotment shall be made at the rates applicable at the time of allotment of industrial plot,” HSIIDC said in a notification. Some reservation is also made for persons with disabilities.

As much as 10 per cent of the plots have been reserved for the NRIs, PIOs (Person of Indian Origin), and for the units with 33 per cent or more foreign direct investment.

In this context, HSIIDC has sought applications from investors for allotment of industrial plots.

HSIIDC is a public limited company owned by the Government of Haryana.  HSIIDC works towards promoting and accelerating the pace of industrialization in the state through development of industrial infrastructure. (KNN/SD)
