ICAI working on template to give indicative cost to patients

New Delhi, May 15 (KNN) The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) has come out with a draft standard costing template for the healthcare sector to help them get an approximate cost of the services to be availed.

According to Chairman of the Northern India Regional Council (NIRC) of ICAI, Rakesh Bhalla, the template will help patients get an indicative cost of the services to be availed, reports media.

The draft standard costing template has been devised in partnership with the Health Ministry, SK Bhatt, Treasurer, NIRC said.  

In this regard, ICAI seeks medical professionals and small and medium-sized hospitals with 10-50 beds to help fill the template and help them with corrective measures for any pitfalls.   (KNN Bureau)
