New Delhi, Mar 24 (KNN) With a view to clear the concept and doubts related to GST, the eastern India Regional Council of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (EIRC of ICSI) has organized a 2 day training workshop on Goods and Services Tax (GST) from March 23-24, 2018 at ICSI EIRC House, Kolkata.

The theme of the workshop is “Understand GST (Goods & Services Tax): A Practical Approach".

The workshop has been designed to create a class room type environment to understand the basic nuances of the GST framework.

The aim of the workshop is to give an overview of the GST concept and develop skills of various professionals from accounting, finance and taxation backgrounds.

A total of 50 professionals from top corporate and practitioners has been attending the event and CA Atin Harbhajanka, Empanelled Trainer, MSME, Govt. of India (Renowned GST expert from Indore) is the faculty head.

GST is the new indirect tax system which replaces many central and state levies and merges them so as to provide a single system of indirect taxation on pan-India basis. (KNN/YV)
