Income Tax dept to set up Taxpayers' Lounge at IITF 2015 to create awareness

New Delhi, Nov 13 (KNN) The Income Tax department is setting up a Taxpayers' Lounge at IITF 2015 at Pragati Maidan in the national capital.
The lounge will be set up at Hall 12, Pragati Maidan from 14th to 27th November, 2015.
“The theme of the Taxpayers' Lounge will be 'Make in India',” the Ministry of Finance said in a tweet.
“It aims to generate awareness in the public about the various taxpayer-friendly initiatives taken by the Department,” the Ministry tweeted adding that, “Through this, services like e-filing of returns, viewing of tax credit through 26AS, applications for PAN etc will be showcased to the public.”
The Lounge will also highlight the contribution of taxes and the Income Tax Department to nation building.
