India And Germany To Deepen Collaboration On Renewable Energy And Green Hydrogen

New Delhi, Oct 7 (KNN) Union Minister of New and Renewable Energy, Pralhad Joshi, has commenced a three-day visit to Germany, aimed at bolstering bilateral cooperation in sustainable development and renewable energy sectors.

The visit, scheduled from October 7 to 9, 2024, includes Minister Joshi's participation in the Hamburg Sustainability Conference.

During his stay, Minister Joshi is set to engage in a series of high-level bilateral meetings with his German counterparts, as well as officials from the United Kingdom and other nations.

These discussions are expected to focus on enhancing collaboration across various aspects of sustainable development, including green hydrogen initiatives, low-cost financing options, and the entire value chain of renewable energy components.

At the Hamburg Sustainability Conference, Minister Joshi will present India's stance on green shipping and highlight the potential role of green hydrogen in decarbonising the mobility sector.
