India tourism to showcase products at global fair

New Delhi, 16 (KNN)  In an effort to promote tourists destinations of the country, the Ministry of Tourism will exhibit its products in the International Tourism Bourse to be held in Berlin from March-5 to 9, 2014.

The primary objective of participating in the ITB is to depict India as a destination for travel and tourism, and to provide a platform for state governments and other stakeholders to showcase their tourism products, said an official notification.

In this regard, the ministry is seeking partnership from experienced agencies as service providers for conceptualization, designing and construction of the India Pavilion at the global event.

With more than 170,000 visitors, among these 113,000 trade visitors, and 11,000 represented companies from 180 countries, ITB Berlin is the leading B2B-Platform of all tourism industry offers.

In addition, the world’s largest tourism convention provides unique opportunities to benefit from the leading think tanks of the global tourism industry.  (KNN/ST)
