Indian Air Force to hold Seminar on Indigenisation of tools testers and Ground Equipment for SMEs
New Delhi, Dec 5 (KNN) The Indian air force in collaboration with PHD Chamber and the Punjab State government will be holding an industry seminar on Indigenisation of tools testers and Ground Equipment for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) of the sector in Punjab.
The Seminar is scheduled for December 8th at the ongoing event PITEX at Ranjit Avenue in Amritsar.
The main aim of the seminar is to generate capacities among the local Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in the defence equipment sector. Also with the seminar, the Air Force intends to inform the local industry of the requirements and layout map for future collaborations.
Different stakeholders including senior representatives from the Indian Air Force, DPSUs, Academia and government departments are expected to participate in the event.
The thematic panel discussions during the seminar is to include indigenisation procedures and quality assurance requirements, indigenisation of tools testers and ground equipment. Also an interactive session is scheduled in the seminar. (KNN/DA)
