The four day event will be showcasing new developments in machinery and materials that are creating opportunities that would have been unimaginable only a few years ago.
The event is organized by All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) with TAFCON as associate organisers, and is supported by the Commerce Ministry, Ministry of MSME and Urban Development Ministry.
While inaugurating the event yesterday, Commerce and Industry's Minister of State E M S Natchiappan said that the Indian printing industry will reach nearly USD 20.9 billion by 2015, according to a media report.
Currently, India's printing market, is valued at USD 12.1 billion.
With the exponential growth, the organisers expect India to become the largest printing market by 2015 aided by low-cost production and ready-to-adopt new technology.
The event is also being supported by the Indian Newspaper Society (INS) and the Federation of Indian Publishers. (KNN/SD)
