New Delhi, Mar 1 (KNN)  What are the challenges and opportunities for women entrepreneurs? These are the questions which will be examined at a summit of Women Entrepreneurship being organised by the National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) on March-8.

March-8 is International Women’s Day when numerous events are held throughout the world to inspire women and celebrate achievements.

The objective of NIESBUD’s programme is to discuss the challenges and opportunities for women entrepreneurs and guiding them in maximising their potential.

While the Secretary, Disability Affairs, Government of India will inaugurate the programme, senior officials from various ministries associated with women empowerment, micro, small and medium enterprises and successful women entrepreneurs will speak on the occasion.

Annually on March-8, thousands of events are held throughout the world.  A global web of rich and diverse local activity connects women from all around the world ranging from political rallies, business conferences, government activities and networking events through to local women's craft markets, theatrical performances, fashion parades and more.   (KNN/ES)
