IT/ITeS exports from Noida grow over 21 times, cross 52000 Cr: STPI

Noida, Dec 16 (KNN) The IT/ITeS exports through STPI Noida have exponentially grown over 21 times from Rs. 2,450 crores in FY 1999-00 to Rs. 52,795 crores in FY 2019-20, making it the major IT hub of North India informed by Dr. Onakar Rai Director General of Software Technology Parks of India (STPI).

STPI maintains internal engineering resources to provide consulting, training and implementation services. Services cover network design, system integration, installation, operations and maintenance of application networks and facilities in varied areas. Process development is based on the quality management system.

STPI is an autonomous society set up by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) in 1991.

It promote the development and export of software and software services including Information Technology (I.T.) Enabled Services/ Bio-IT.

It facilitate statutory and other promotional services to the exporters by implementing Software Technology Park/ Electronics and Hardware Technology Park Schemes and other such schemes which may be formulated and entrusted by the Government from time to time.

It provide data communication services including value added services to IT / IT enabled services related industries and promote micro, small and medium entrepreneurs by creating conducive environment for entrepreneurship in the field of IT / IT Enabled Services.
