Jammed Parliament is a matter of concern: Kalraj Mishra

New Delhi, Dec 18 (KNN) Union MSME Minister Kalraj Mishra took it to micro-blogging site twitter to lash out at the opposition for stalling Parliament.

“Last Session of the Parliament was washed out and current session is also at the verge of same. Various public issues, bills are being indefinitely delayed,” Mishra wrote.

He said, “Jammed Parliament is a matter of concern and arises the question we need to ask ourselves, “are we being fair to ourselves and this country?"

The continuous disruptions in the Parliament has left the fate of several key Bills including the MSME (Amendment) Bill 2015 in limbo.

Rajya Sabha chairperson Hamid Ansari has called an all-party meeting this afternoon.

According to some reports, Ansari is planning to parties to end disruptions in the Rajya Sabha and also ask for their inputs on a long term solution to the emerging practice where few protesting members paralyze work in the house.

The winter session of the Parliament will end on Wednesday, and the key Bill like the Goods and Services Tax or GST bill has given big worries to the government. (KNN Bureau)
