Japan's Isuzu may set up facility in Sri City, AP

Chennai, Jan 29 (KNN)  Japan's Isuzu is examining the possibility of setting up a diesel engine facility at Sri City special economic zone (SEZ) in Andhra Pradesh, a top company official said.
 
The Japan auto major is into production of LCVs, commercial vehicles and diesel engines.
 
Its plans have the potential to open business opportunities for the ancillaries in the automobile sector.
 
“We are also studying the market for setting up a diesel engine facility in India.  Whether it will be inside Sri City or somewhere else will be decided at a later stage,” Isuzu India President and MD, Takashi Kikuchi said.  (KNN)
