Kalraj Mishra hails tax exemption for MSMEs with turnover below Rs 2 cr

New Delhi, Feb 29 (KNN) Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Kalraj Mishra has welcomed the General Budget saying that it will create a friendly environment for ease of doing business and will boost Make in India and Start-up India.

Writing on the micro-blogging site Twitter, the Minister said, “Tax exemption for MSME with turnover below Rs 2 Cr will is a welcome step.”

No tax on profits for Start-ups for 3 years will encourage business mentality and will support them to focus on their business, Mishra said.

He said the Budget 2016-17 is for Agriculture & Farmer Welfare and outlines social and financial wellbeing of farmers is the NDA Government's priority. (KNN Bureau)
