Kalraj Mishra is the new President of Taekwondo Federation of India

Lucknow, June 29 (KNN) Kalraj Mishra is not only the Union Minister for MSME, but now he is also the new president of Taekwondo Federation of India(TFI).
The election to the TFI was held on Sunday but Mishra was nominated for the post on Friday.
Jimmy R Jagtiani would continue as the Secretary General, whereas Senior BJP leader Sudhir Halwasia has been elected as the new treasurer of the TFI.
Meanwhile, TFI today selected Indian team to participate in the world Taekwondo Hanmadang- 2015 at Pyeongtaek City, South Korea from July 30 to August 2 next.
Mishra, after being nominated as the President of TFI, has called on the all the TFI officials to put their all strength to uplift the game which is lagging in the country.
He said that promoting Taekwondo would increase the self-confidence and self-defence amongst the people. He also urged to aware women about Taekwondo. (KNN Bureau)
