KEONICS plans re-entering the electronic manufacturing sector

Bangalore, Dec 6 (KNN) The Karnataka State Electronics Development Corporation Limited (KEONICS) has proposed a project to promote the electronics and related sectors.
The state government undertaking company wishes to enter into manufacturing, utilising its expertise in house as well as through joint ventures, in the fast developing manufacturing sector of electronic and electronic system design and manufacturing (ESDM).
In this regard, it is seeking partnership from different corporations to study its existing strengths and guide it to re-enter into manufacturing sector related to electronics. It will soon be appointing experienced consultants for preparing the projects.
The scope of project comprises exploring opportunity available; identifying the product to be considered for manufacturing, demand and supply of such products in the state and country, export opportunities, return on investment analysis, overall project viability report and other related matters.
