KVIC to customise software for khadi industry

New Delhi, Nov 6 (KNN)  As a part of its modernisation process, the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) is keen to develop customised software to increase efficiency of the khadi industry. 

In this regard, the ministry of micro, small, medium enterprises (MSME) is seeking partnership from different agencies for the development and implementation of a software based department for Khadi Gramodyog Bhavan.

KVIC is an apex organization, which regulates the establishment and development of khadi and village industries in the rural areas.

The products of the KVIC sector benefit a large number of people. There are 5999 registered institutions and 30138 cooperative societies through which KVI activities are being implemented.  (KNN/ST)
