Bhopal, Jul 15 (KNN)  Khadi and Village Industries Commission is keen to improve the E-tracking system that monitors the flow of applications for the Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP).

A nodal agency for implementing PMEGP in urban and rural areas, KVIC has invited applications from government and private sector agencies to evaluate the status of the e-tracking system for all the four agencies involved in implementing PMEGP – KVIB, DIG and Banks other than KVIC.

The selected agency would need to collect data for the year 2013-14 relating to the status of the applications, having had considerable experience in data collection, data entry at both district and state level.

Agencies having experience in conducting surveys and studies with an annual turnover of over Rs 100 crore in each of the last three years would be given preference.

Staff of the outsourced agency would be posted in the DIC’s office and would report to the GM and DIG as the entire process of e-tracking will be implemented by the GM DIG for the district.

On its part, KVIB and KVIC would provide the necessary data relating to e-tracking while the outsourced agency would collect data from the concerned bank for e-tracking.

The E-tracking system software was developed to track applications and create a database of applications received, budget sanctioned and disbursed and to monitor the flow of applications up to the stage of disbursement by banks.

Proposals are invited state wise for district level data collection and data entry for e-tracking system in Madhya Pradesh for the year 2013-14.  (KNN)
