KVIC to link with retail outlets, suppliers online

New Delhi, May 5 (KNN) The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) is implementing an e-governance project which will enable its real-time linkages with other outlets and sales agents.

The project will also help it link with suppliers of raw materials.

The main objectives of the e-Governance initiative are to simplify the business process and bring in more transparency and sustainability of the processes and systems.

KVIC wants to implement workflow based transaction system to reduce paper work and make the information accessible through multiple channels.

In this context, KVIC seeks bids from agencies for supply, installation, implementation and support the e-Governance solution in KVIC.

KVIC functions under the administrative control of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and is charged with the planning, promotion, organization and implementation of various schemes for the development of Khadi and Village Industries. (KNN/SD)
