KVIC to organise training programme on e-commerce

New Delhi, Sept 22 (KNN) The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) is organising a training programme on how to earn through e-commerce, at Multi-Disciplinary Training Centre on September 26 and 27.

The certificate course will provide knowledge on how to earn online using various e-commerce portals and internet with classroom practice.

Individuals like students, house wives, entrepreneurs, trainers and professional will be participating in the two day programme.

Functions of KVIC comprise building up of a reserve of raw materials and implements for supply to producers, creation of common service facilities for processing of raw materials as semi-finished goods and provisions of facilities for marketing of KVI products apart from organisation of training of artisans engaged in these industries and encouragement of co-operative efforts amongst them.

To promote the sale and marketing of khadi and/or products of village industries or handicrafts, the commission also forge linkages with established marketing agencies wherever feasible and necessary. (KNN Bureau)
