Last date to file ACTIVE (INC-22A) expires on June 15: MCA

New Delhi, May 31 (KNN) The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has informed vide a flash alert that last date for filing ACTIVE (INC-22A) expires on June 15, 2019 and no further extension would be provided.

It said “Please note that last date for filing ACTIVE (INC-22A) expires on 15th June 2019 and no further extension would be provided.”

In case ACTIVE is not filed on or before the said date, the compliance status for such companies shall be marked as ‘ACTIVE Non-compliant’ and Directors of such ‘ACTIVE non-compliant’ companies shall be marked as ‘Director of ACTIVE non-compliant company’.

Earlier in the month of February, MCA came with a notification stating that every companies incorporated on or before 31st December, 2017 is required to file form INC-22A as per Rule 25A of Companies (Incorporation) Amendment Rules, 2019. The objective behind this is to track the shell company which only existing on paper.

Later, MCA had issued the notification by way of the companies (Registration offices and Fees) second Amendment Rules, 2019, extending the due date for filing Active e-Form INC-22A to June 15, 2019.
