But the area which houses thousands of micro and small enterprises and engages more than 1,00,000 has one big problem to worry about. The law and order is always a big issue for the industries in Manesar, as the crime rate in Haryana is always being high, said an entrepreneur from Manesar.
KNN caught up with the President of Manesar Industries Welfare Association (MIWA) Manmohan Gaind who told that Law and Order is always a big issue for industries in Manesar.
“We have approached the Police Commissioner of Gurgaon Navdeep Singh Virk who assured us to help in best way,” said the President of MIWA.
He also said that Gurgaon Police is providing five patrolling vehicles for Industries along with three private Guards and one Policeman in each patrolling vehicle.
The CCTV cameras are to be installed in Manesar Industrial belt to avoid any theft and to keep a watch on passers-by, he added
For tightening the security of industrial hub, the association is also planning to construct the big and strong gates to give a full proof protection to the industries, he revealed.
We are finding many more solutions to improve the law and order situation here, he added.
Meanwhile, talking about the infrastructure in the industrial area, he seemed to be satisfied.
Roads are good, and we are getting full supply of electricity without any power cuts, he said.
He also said that we are regularly interacting with the concerned departments and the issues are being resolved easily.
One issue that we are facing is with the toll plaza, the trucks spend more than half an hour extra to reach the industry, but manytimes it takes as long as 4 to 5 hours.
The Gurgaon-Manesar Master Plan projects the population of 37, 00,000 by 2021. It has many factories, offices, hotels and educational institutes. (KNN Bureau)
