Management lessons from ancient & medieval Indian wisdom

Organised by the Institute of Marketing and Management in collaboration with Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth and The Indian Society for Training and Development, the conference of business schools on the theme ‘Management Lessons from Ancient and Medieval Indian Wisdom’ will be held on November 11, 2014 at the Institute of Marketing and Management.
The date marks the birthday of the 1st Education Minister of India, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad.
“The Conference will throw light on management wisdom derived from ancient and medieval scriptures that have contributed to the India’s rich heritage and culture. It will contribute to a deeper understanding of our roots, re-interpreting the key values derived therefrom and show how lessons derived from ancient and medieval Indian wisdom can be integrated into the modern day management,” said an official release.
During the event, experts will relate to contemporary issues and challenges being faced by the corporate world and suggest practical solutions.
The sessions would be interactive and ten prizes have been instituted as ‘Best Question Award’ and provide answers in the background of Indian wisdom.
The Conference will be attended by senior officials from Government of India, successful entrepreneurs, business leaders, industry experts and professionals, noted academicians, research scholars and students of management and faculty members. (KNN/ES)
