Finance Minister Announces New Manufacturing Mission in Union Budget 2025-26

New Delhi, Feb 1 (KNN) In her eighth consecutive budget presentation, the Finance Minister unveiled a new Manufacturing Mission under the Make in India initiative.

This mission is designed to bolster small, medium, and large industries through comprehensive policy support and a well-defined framework.

A key focus of the mission is to develop an ecosystem for solar PV cells, electrolysers, and grid-scale batteries, strengthening India's push for clean energy and self-reliance in manufacturing.

The initiative aligns with the government’s broader strategy to boost domestic production, reduce import dependence, and create employment opportunities in advanced technology sectors.

Industry experts have welcomed the move, anticipating increased investment and innovation in India's renewable energy and manufacturing landscape.
