Master creation programme to feature craft competitions

New Delhi, Dec 3 (KNN)  The Office of the Development Commissioner of Handicrafts has organised a Master Creation Programme 2013 that will feature competitions in various crafts such as rangoli, bead work, paper craft, etc.

The Master Creation Programme is being held in Dilli Haat here from December-1 to 15.

Competitions will held in gift wrapping, matka painting, drawing, clay modelling, rangoli, kite making, bead work, mehandi decoration, hair beading and paper craft. 

The Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts) is attached to the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.  It works for the socio-economic upliftment of artisans and supplements the efforts of the state governments for promotion and development of handicrafts within the country and abroad.  (KNN/ES)
