MIA greets Labour Union and Workers on Labour Day

Mysore, May 1 (KNN) Mysore Industries Association (MIA) has greeted labour union leaders and workers on the occasion of International Labour Day which marks the welfare and unity of labour in the global world.

President of MLA, Sri Vasu and Secretary Suresh Kumar Jain appreciated the contribution made by workmen community in the development of industrialization, during tough period of note demonetization and implementation of GST.

The association thanked the workmen community for their efforts in converting the challenges of global competition into opportunities.

MIA is obliged to all trade unions and workmen for maintaining peace, law & order in the industries throughout the year, adds a press note.

May 1 is celebrated as International Labour Day worldwide. It is also called Workers day or International Workers Day. The theme of Labour Day of 2019 is ‘Uniting Workers for Social and Economic Advancement.’
